[10069] Bank of America - RIPOFF: Online Busniess Suite Fees

I have two separate business accounts with Bank of America. A number of months ago, when I logged into one of the accounts, I was presented with a screen which asked me to enroll in BOA's Online Business Suite. I clicked on the link to read about the program and declined to enroll because it would have resulted in a monthly fee. Since that time, I get that same screen every time I log into that particular account and I always have declined the option and moved on to view this account.

I had occasion to review the accounts for both businesses recently and discovered that BofA has been assessing a $15.00 monthly fee against both business accounts for the last four months for their "Online Business Suite". I never enrolled in this service and never authorized BofA to assess these charges.

I went to my local branch yesterday to complain. The branch manager called the BofA 800 number and spoke with a bank representative. As a result, the manager was able to reverse only two of the monthly charges, saying that she only had the ability to go back two months.

I have read a number of other horror stories of BofA assessing these Online Business Suite charges against other businesses without authorization. This needs to stop! BofA is clearly making a TON of money from these unauthorized fees. I would be curious to know how many other people are being ripped off the same way.
