Sent to a friend[10091] ooma - ooma free phone service
NEED TO KNOW HOW THE OOMA DEVICE IS?Is it really worth spending that amount of money for the device?
Also, how's the call quality? Extras that comes with it...
and most importantly,,,converting u'r current number is free or it cost 39.99 b/c once saw their ads saying that converting # is free? ? ?

- I've had OOMA for over a year now. Its fantastic. Call quality is great. The only issue (albeit minor) is when you pick up the phone to answer it or make a call there is 1 second delay in the initial connection. So when you say hello as you pick up the phone, the caller will not hear it so you have to say it again or wait initially to say hello. Although this sounds like a downer, its not a big deal. The cost is high, but if pays back within 1 year. The $40 is to port (transfer) your phone number.
