[11707] Miami International Vacations - Radio Ad Scam

this company is fraud. Supposedly i called in from the radio ad thinking that i won a vacation and they end up charging me 300. than to top it off, they sold me a vacation that i dont even qualify for. It turns out you have to be a single female and make 50,000 per year to be able to make your reservation, and now they keep hanging up on me after waiting on hold for an hour when i call and ask for a refund. also, it turns out that there is lots more charges that will be made when you make your reservation. is there anyone that knows who i can talk to to take further action?

  • I have experienced the same exact treatment with this company, but they charged me 458$ telling me i had won 5 different vacation packages to different destinations, with all amenities paid. I have called them various times trying to contact the highest authority and they have now began to ignore my calls, and when they do pick up they leave me on hold for hours, telling me they are looking up my information. I am ready to take legal action at this point.

  • the same thing is happening to me. we actually called a radio station here los angeles and answered a question correctly and won 4 tickets to Disnelyland, they gave us a phone number to call to reserve our dates for the trip to cancun mexico AND Disneyland, they told us we had to pay a $259 administrative fee, and needless to say we never heard from them. I'm READY to take legal action and spread the word about this scam. and let the news/media and other people know about "RADIO" / trip agencies scams. this is so unheard of and unfair.

  • Please! You can not be so ignorant about this!!!

    Who says its free???????????

    NO BODY!

If you wish to cancel call them at their customer service number and state you do not wish to have this promotion that you called them, you gaved them your personal information, that you gaved them your credit card and simply state you wish to cancel under the 30 days cooling period!

And please stop flaming companies over your greater mistake of all.

Listen and talk...Dont spea if you can not do both!

  • And remember your conversation was recorded and authorize by you! Means you gaved them 100% consent over your information.

It is pretty hard to say its a scam in a court of law where you gaved them all your information!

Learn the law and reserve the right to type foolish comments that only an ignorant eye will finish up the sentence!
