Sent to a friend[12332] AT&T - Bait and switch "Phone deals"
I have given AT&T an entire year to straighten out my phone bill. I have never received a bill yet that I did not have to call customer service to have corrected. One month it was a $600.00 mistake! No one ever seems to know what's going on with my bill, unless I'm signing up for a new plan. They tell me what my bill is going to be, and then when I recieve it, it's TWICE as much. Now I have been trying to discontinue my services with them for almost a week now, and it's they won't do it. They tell me that a supervisor will call me. I havn't heard from one yet and it's almost been a week, while in the mean time I have no cell service or home phone. When you call customer service they toss you from one rep to another, and each time you're having to explain your situation all over again. I have spoke to several other customers of theirs and they have the same complaints. I'm sure they will be expecting an early termination fee for discontinuing with them, what a joke! I need a good lawyer.Posted 2 years ago

- If you can't cancell because of them, then get another service, and forget about them. When they send you a letter asking for money, refer them to your "supervisor" and let them know that he will be "calling" soon to "handle" their problem.
Then a few months later, write back to them and explain to ATT that they broke your contract, and you owe nothing, and nothing is what you are going to pay. In fact, send them a BILL for all the time you spent on the phone explaining things to them. Your time is worth at least the same amount of money as their time is supposedly worth.
