Sent to a friend[13650] California Bean Bags -
I purchased a set of custome cornhole boards/bean bags toss boards. I paid for a set of boards on June 14, 2009, and still no boards. Joe the owner was the person making the boards but the invoice came form Joe's wife Elena. Elena/Joe sent the invoice and I paid the invoice with in the hour of receiving the email, in the amount of $470.00. At the time I was speaking with Joe and he said it should take 2-3 weeks for the boards. Six weeks after the initial conversation I emailed Joe and was told by Joe that he needed a part and should have it in a day or so that the one they sent was wrong and would have them done ASAP. About 3 weeks later no boards so I emailed Joe. Two weeks later (September 3, 2009) Joe emailed me and apologzed for the delay and that his internet was down do to a fire and that we just got the part for his compressor and was moving my order to the top of the list and would send them out the Tuesday of the Holiday. That was the last time I have hear from Joe. I have emailed over 10 times and followed up with phone call that have gone unanswered. I also, contacted the BBB. www.la.bbb.org. They closed the case because they did not reply. Do not buy anything from california bean bags. They dihonest and unprofessional. Stay away.Posted 2 years ago
