Sent to a friend[14245] outdoorkitchens. com - Lottazing - excessive shipping charges
On February 15, 2010 we ordered over $3,000.00 for outdoor kitchen appliances, this was to be a Birthday Surprise for my husband. Well it never showed up. I made a phone call to OutDoorKitchens.com and to my surprise no matter what extention you press, you will be connected to Chris Smith. Whom I found to be very uncourteous argumentative man who is rude, speak over you, with a "cancel your order attitude" "We get a 30% restocking fee" This after he alledges our $3,000.00 equipment was shipped by him thrrough RL Carries, who could not call us for an appointment, and claims he tried to send e-mails that we never recieved! Now I dont know about anyone else but Mike and I have had the same e-mail address for over 12 years, have never had an issue ever. So we were forced to eiither pay an additional $179.00 or lose almost $400.00 to get our $3,200.00 worth of equipment hopefully reshipped! Now this may not be over yet, after the unsatisfactory service so far, how will any warranty issues be handled.. This guy in my personal opinion is a one man operation and financially can not afford to back his reputation or just does not care after the sale..Only out for the dollar! Buyers Beware! pay a little more to a reputable company who values customers and Backs there good reputation..We never recieved an e-mail or any shipping confirmation or tracking numbers from this Chris Smith, all I got were excuses and lip service! - Hello, I am Chris Smith from Lottazing.com. The customer that posted the above comments is Vicky Budreau. This are the parts she left out and the the truth to the parts she has misrepresented. First off she was not and still is not the customer. It was another gentleman that goes by a different sir name. The original order was done by the customer on line with no assistance by LottaZing.com
The Customer listed his ship to address in GA. The phone number he provided was disconnected. The order was shipped with in 3 days of the order being placed. The carrier attempted to contact the customer via phone to schedule a delivery but could never contact the customer because his number was disconnected. The Carrier then contacted us for help. We sent an email to the customer and called the number to no avail. We did a directory look up based on the number given. It came back to a Delaware address not GA.We got no response to our emails. We did a search of the address listed and it came back to a Budreau not the name of the customer. We had the shipment returned because we could not deliver. Then Ms. Budreau contacted us in letting us know how we should have still made the delivery regardless of the issues. I tried to explain to her that we can not just leave $3,000+ in equipment on the door step of a house that is not registered to the customer. Nor would we ever do that we have to not only protect us, but the Credit Card holder we charged. She said (what does that matter the Credit Card Company would just have to eat it if it was stolen.) Yes we do have a company policy that if we ship an order and can not deliver because the customer gave us bad information and never responded to out calls or emails that they would be charged the same restock fee we are charged. Ms. Budreau contends that we never sent her relative, the original customer, an email and demanded proof. We sent here the email showing the date and time stamps it was actually sent to the customer. Ms. Budreau then agreed to have the order shipped back and she received it in 72 hours again and she has had no complaints about the shipping time frames nor the equipment. IN FACT THEY JUST PLACED A NEW ORDER ON MARCH 26, 2010 FOR OVER $1,000, SHIPPED OUT THE SAME DAY AND THIS TIME THEY ACTUALLY PUT A PHONE NUMBER THAT THEY COULD ANSWER!!! REGARDLESS OF HOW THE CUSTOMER TREATS US WE ARE FAIR AND HONEST! WE APPRECIATE THE ABILITY TO RESPOND TO HER FALSE CLAIMS. THANK YOU
