[14912] NETTALK, TK6000 - an ignorant customer-service

99.95? is what the company says cost its product: nettalk or TK6000 name of the product which makes VOIP calls through the internet using the traditional phone. Long story short, first of all, you get what you pay for, so far my experiences have been w/ the company has been a nightmare. the customer-service is absolutely horrible, I have return my product and its been a month still they did not refund me yet.
So, I would suggest to you guys is, find a better alternative than, this product; and again, u get what u pay for, and also, customer-service is miserable.
And if the company is looking at this post: wait till i post the conversation w/ u'r customer-service on youtube !
peace

  • The first day I used the NetTAlk TK6000, it would not work in certain New York area codes. I called the company immediately and everyday since then, but I still can't call New York. I can't get a person from customer service that speaks clear english and they seem to care less when you call. It will not work in peak hours and now, it hasn't worked in 3 days. I called the company today and they said they are working on it. That's what they tell me each time I call! I am sending it back tomorrow! The company cannot stay in business with it's current business model, so save the $99.95 and don't order one. I talked to 6 others that order one and their units only worked 50% of the time. Everyone sent their units back within the first week and still waiting for a refund. Don't waste your time and money on it!

  • These people goofy. I ordered a unit over a week ago and paid extra for 2 day express shipping. The unit still isn't here. I called the office of the president (305-621-1200 ext. 102) and talked with his secretary She was of absolutely no help either.

  • I was unable to make called to Redbox toll free number and there was other toll free calls I could not reach. I also had to dial my own area code from my cell phone, even though my cell phone had the same area code. I kept calling them about these issue and they said that there engineers is working on it. I eventually send it back after my family was not able to reach me for three days.

  • Run away from these lying bastards. I am still waiting for money I put on my account after I quit them. I got most of my money back for the equipment I returned to them but still am missing my money on the account. Several times I have asked. Customer service was argumentative and rude. Finally Peter from the headshed intervened in the phone call. They originally confirmed .038 cents per minute to a city in Mexico, cellular or land line. I checked after making the calls. .18 cents per minute. Misleading advertisement to get my business. SEND my remaining money or I go to the BBB.

  • i am unable to get a refund because they claim that the returned unit must be lost. customer service has twice promised the refund, but no luck. I think that these are very bad people who are in the process of a postal fraud program.
