Sent to a friend[15686] Redbox - overcharged ATM $2.15
I thought $1 redbox DVD rentals were a good deal,that is untill I looked at my online Bank statement
a few days later and found a $2.15 overcharge on the second rental! I called 800 customer service number, operator tried to give me some BS story that I HAD rented another DVD. SHE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME A REFUND! When I told her I was going to file a formal complaint with my Bank for unauthorized charges, she changed her tune and issued the refund! She claimed it was a computer error! Then why are all the "Computer errors" ALWAYS in favor of Redbox and not in customers favor?
Had I checked online for "Ripoff" reports, I would have never applied for a redbox account. Would have looked into netflix or just bought DVD outright. USE the threat of filing complaint(s) to credit card companys, theu your bank, enough complaints will get credit card collection rights revoked!
