Sent to a friend I had a hospital bill and the bill was sent to Grant & Weber, they sent me a threatening letter and were not just collecting but legal action to pay the full bill immediately, regardless. Pay now or go to court. Talk about shrude! They also did several hard check inquiries on my credit report with notifying me just in a couple of days, not one check but 2 and for what(?). What the hack are they doing looking on there without telling me they are going to look into my credit report. I called their client and they called them to pull the file, they did as I made complaints to them about how Grant & Weber treated to me awful. I dealt with the hospital and the matter was resolved but my credit report wasn’t. Grant & Weber never notified the TWR creditors beaus about the inquiries my TWR nor did they apologize either.
So I am writing to say with this recession economy and with the high unemployment rates, hard inquiries from Collection agencies like Grant & Weber makes is harder for Americans to find a job when job interview employees do credit checks, Grant & Weber is part of the reason why people are not getting work when you have a new generation of employment request to get credit checks for finding a job.
If you get a letter from Grant & Weber, call the merchant and ask if they can work with you instead than this awful collection company.

Personality: The Con-Artist
As with all these types, some who have the strengths and qualities described above may take these Teacher attributes too far. Being brilliant, they may become shrewd, calculating, and deceptive. Being impressive and persuasive, they may take advantage of other people by lying to them and leading them on. In any gathering, Con Artists always have to be "the smartest person in the room." They will do everything they can to make it seem that way--no matter what the occasion. They live for "their image." Mindfulness can spot this rather easily.
Stuck on their intellectual abilities, Con Artists may become cold, and aloof, acting as if they are better than other people. They believe it's true. They rise above others, and actually look down upon them. They arch their eyebrows. Often, their nose can be seen a little "in the air" to "look down" as best they can. They are clever, and slyly patient when their manipulations are in play. "I can wait and watch
