i am an ex-employee of showcase staging houston and teresa cwik's ex-assistant.... this woman is VERY UNSTABLE and i have personally seen her lie to many people and rip them off. she takes large application fees and deposits and never places people in a home. she advertises other people's work on her website. her actual work looks nothing like what she has on her website. if customers decide they dont want to work with her after seeing (literally) the junk she tries to put on their properties
, she harrasses them and asks for large amounts $$$ for cancellation fees...

- COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- A Cobb County couple says their house has been hijacked by a woman who was supposed to help them sell it.
Hanna and Devin Pintozzi hired Buckhead staging company Creative Show Homes to help market their upscale Smyrna house. Their contract included a live-in resident manager to make the home look more appealing to agents and buyers while the couple lives elsewhere. The couple said resident manager Katrina “Honest†Jimmerson has barricaded herself inside.
On Thursday, Channel 2’s Diana Davis visited the $350,000 home that has been up for sale since March.
The doors were locked. The blinds were drawn. The couple’s house key didn’t work, and the realtor lock box key was missing.
“We can’t go in the home. We don’t know what she is doing in the home right now. The company did not give us any information about her before she moved in,†Devin said.
Creative Show Homes brochures describe resident managers as often young executives or families, but Jimmerson has a rap sheet. She was recently arrested on unrelated charges.
The couple approached law enforcement officials about the issue, but the Cobb County Sheriff said it’s up to the staging company to evict Jimmerson, because the couple signed a contract.
The couple said the staging company has been just as unprofessional and irresponsible as the woman locked inside.
“They haven’t answered to any of our needs. They didn’t inform us that this was even a problem … What if I had been out of state?†Hanna asked.
Creative Show Homes owner Don Clarke said he understands the couple’s concern. He promised that Jimmerson will be removed from the house before Nov. 5.
The couple said the staging company claims they got a court order on Jimmerson but have yet to show any paperwork.
The Pintozzis cut off the water supply to the house, but Jimmerson was able to convince a work crew to turn it back on.
“It’s heartbreaking, completely heart breaking,†Hanna said.
Posted 11 months agoReport - Home staging Home Tending Scam Alert!! Fraud. Google Teresa Cwik, Valerie Splain. Google Joy Sizemore. 3rd degree felons involved. Get Insurance on your stuff. Scam Alert....
[http://complaintsbbb.com/2010/05/11/showoff-and-sell-owner-and-houston-home-metamorphosis-joy-sizemore-3rd-degree-felon/showoff and sell; houston home metamorphosis HOME TENDINGâ€â€-My advice is DON’T DO IT! Now let me back that statement up. First of all I hired one of these home tending business’s and from day I had issue’s. No-one did weekly, monthly inspections had they –they would of noticed one of their employee’s -renters-tenants-home tenders whichever was indeed breaking the rules…in several ways!!!! Model home furniture was not placed in my home ( I heard this from a realtor who showed my house to a potential buyer AND Which Whom did not make an offer on my house) Curb appeal –my yard is trashed. Weeds 5 feet high, leaves from last fall, dead grass overgrown trees and shrubs. Again all verified by my neighbors. Utilities, well this might be the only plus but make sure that YOU are not responsible one dime. But think about how much those utilities really cost you if you left your home vacant. Minor repair & maintenanceâ€â€never happened. Things were in worse working condition than when I signed a contract. Repair of property damage. This only applies IF the tending company A) tells you and/or B) if the employee’s -renters-tenants-home tenders report it to the tending company. Once you sign a contract YOU are not allowed on the property without being escorted by the tending company it’s self. Once you sign a contract you are basically giving that employee’s -renters-tenants-home tenders more rights to your place than you the owner.
Please please please read up about the home tending company you intend to use. Check with BBB of your community. Do internet research.Ask friends and neighbors. We went against all our friends pleas. We thought we were being crafty and utilizing a ‘new’ service. Trust me Scamming has been around a long time and I fell prey. I only hope my story saves the next family from destruction. Not only did my house NOT sell, but you should see the nasty mess they left for me, smell the stench within my home, view the destroyed yard(from the pet),and lets not forget the stolen items from my property as well as unpaid utility bills. No proof of insurance was provided to us and the tending company has the contract written so tight that they are NOT responsible for anything that happens to your place. You must sue the employee’s -renters-tenants-home tenders which of whom you will never get their name and/or phone number much less forwarding address.
This post was submitted by george w..]
