[16118] Powerhousebids.com - Cheated me and ignores emails

Powershousebids.com is one of many online penny auction sites. They were shut down due to technical problems for quite awhile. When they finally resumed the clocks weren't always running smoothly but they kept running auctions all day. I won 3 great auctions($250 Visa giftcard, PS3,and a bidpack of 100 bids). just as i won the PS3 they shut down again, adding a notice that all wins/bids would be returned to accounts within 24 hours. My wins all showed up as being won auctions on my account so I paid the s/h fees. I kept checking back, for about 2 weeks no bids returned and items still showed as won. Then they refunded the s/h on the Visa card and PS3. I wrote, asking for my bids back if they weren't honoring auctions. At this time I thought they had refunded all 3, I later realized they never returned s/h on the bidpack so they owe me another 100 bids there, plus most of 135 bids used on the other two items. I wrote and wrote, never a word from them. As I checked the site each day, I started noticing the screen names of current bidders. Not a one was familiar, I've been on many penny auction sites, I should know at least a couple names. When you google my screen name, and others I know of, you get a page full of auction sites. The names on Powerhousebids, I check 30+, bring up nothing. Maybe they are ALL new to penny auctions and only bid on this site? yeah. I then began to ask for the cash value of my bids paid to my paypal account, a much cheaper resolution than what I had won on auctions. But still, I cannot get any response, which is just as bad as being cheated. Many people seem to think All penny auctions are a scam. I've tried so many of them and to date I've only been cheated by Powerhousebids. I was perfectly willing to settle for the cash value of the bids(about $100) a fraction of the value of what I'd won. After all this, I feel I deserve my winnings. And an apology for ignoring me.

  • Powerhousebids.com is a scam they are not a legit company, if you do a whois check the website was registered through godaddy.com also in their terms and condition they gave a fake phone number and address. These are scammers I hope people will not fall for that and loose their money.
