Sent to a friend[4482] fit fac - charged my c.c.
www.fit-fac.com charged my card 29.95 without my autorization. Causing my account to overdraw. The bank helped me out but I wanted to report this. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and caused me stress that I did not need.Their phone # 1-866-407-1022.

pay this charge It is fraudulent.. People alwaays verify the charges on your credit card bill. I had charges amounting to over $200.00 that were fraudulent.

Posted 3 years agoReport - Despite the "supposed" Cancellation confirmation number being given, Fit-Fac,com continues blatently and arrogantly to charge month-after-month their "subscription" charges for newsletters which were never taken-out. Very clearly a host of those being SCAMMED by these people need to file compaints with the ICC
Posted 3 years agoReport - I too was duped by these unscrupulous people, I was not only charged once but twice, after by phone and online canceling. Apparently the only way to stop these crooks is to change your credit card number, and never by anything else on line. I believed that the endorsement of Ms. Winfrey made this legitimate, I was wrong again. I think that there should be a class action suite against her, her show and the rest of her corporations for false advertising, and negligence.
To date the total charges we incurred was over $300.00 and on a fixed income this means we will have to comprise our prescription medication.
I have used some very strong language and want to be clear on one additional note:
SHAME ON OPRAH WINREY, WHO APPARENTLEY HAS NO SHAME.
ADDITIONALLY THIS STUFF DOES NOT WORK AS EVEDENCED BY MS. WINFREY’S FAT ASS.
Posted 3 years agoReport - 29.25 WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT, I CALLED MY BANK I ALSO GOT A CONFORMATION NUMBER THEY CLAIM THEY WILL REFUND MY MONEY, I SPOKE TO A GIRL NAME CASANDRA, WHEN I SPOKE TO HER SHE FIRST SAID I ORDERD A GRANT FOR COLLEGE,I SAID NO I DID NOT AND ASKED WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY, CASANDRA THEN SAID I SIGNED UP FOR WEIGHT LOSS I SAID NO AGAIN THIS IS A FREUD AND I'M GOING TO LET MY BANK KNOW . THIS CASANDRA THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE . THEN I TOLD HER I WILL CONTACT MY LAWYER. I WILL CHECK MY ACCOUNT TOMORROW TO SEE IF I GOT MY REFUND.THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE IN JAIL.

Posted 2 years agoReport - I too was charged $29.95 on my charge card and I did not order or authorize this. Luckily I have payment protection & a fraud detector service and will be calling to have this removed.

ordered free sample of Acaipure. Which wasn't
free at all, my credit card was charged $44.85 and I was sent 2 items that I did not order. That was in Dec. '08. On Jan.22, '09 I was charged for
Fit-Fac.membership, which I have not received anything,nor did I join in the first place!!!! On Jan
25, '09 I was again charged for Acaipure $39.95.
I haven't even started to use the first bottle! I only wanted a free sample to try! Now this morning, Feb 24, I get a call from my credit card
company saying that someone is trying to charge
$29.95 to my credit card, evidently a red flag went up due to the fact that the 1-800 number was missing the last number. This charge was
not from Fit-Fac.com this time but had another name...www.selfhelpff.com. I had already cancelled the acaipure a few days ago and now have called the Fit-fac people and cancelled and
am supposed to get a refund...(?) I would call
the selfhelp people but I don't have the full number for them. I will be working on that...The good news is that I have cancelled my credit card, before they can do more damage!...I also
thought this was a reputable business (Acaipure)
because it had Oprah Winfreys' recommendation.
I plan not to order questionable products on line
anymore no matter who recommends it!

Posted 2 years agoReport - wow i am shocked to see how many people have gotten riped off. i too have been riped off by fit fac three times so far. i just happen to look on line and see why my account was over drawn and to my surprise i see all these comments . i will go to my bank tomorrow lets pray they can help me. my account was over drawn $250 so far due to these charges one was $29.95 then 89.31 the $1.79 and $12.95 these people need sued and i will contact my laywer tomorrow as well .
Posted 2 years agoReport - OK ---there are over 800 people on 11 consumer complaint sites that got screwed by ordering Acai on Oprah Winfey website...
I was charged 29.95 on my Visa card without any authorization or any service provided. The only thing that this is associated with is my purchase from Merchant:
DRI REG.NET a product called Acai on the Oprah Winfrey website - what a scam...
The company DRI Reg.net takes the order and then sells your credit card info to many
other internet companies and you will keep getting billed hoping you will not notice the bill.
or complain... this is grand theft on a large scale.
I am filing a complaint as wire fraud with the DA office to see if I can get these creeps stopped
Best protection is to tell the bank my Visa cared is stolen and now cancel my Visa

Posted 2 years agoReport - This is a fraudulant company. They charged my account twice and I did not know it until today. They charged me 29.95 in March and 19.95 in April. It seems that If you order the Resolution acai sample, they will just automatically charge you to see if they can get away with it. Maybe you won't notice the charges on your bank account. If they do not refund my money, I am going to the bank and fill out a form to dispute the charges on my Visa debit card.
