Sent to a friend[519] Clayton Homes Warranty Sucks -
We bought our mobile home through Clayton 3 years ago. We were suckered into the extended warranty for around $500 and were told it covered EVERYTHING in the home. NOT! It only covers certain things and when you need repair you have to pay $100 deductible each time it's used.Needless to say this can get expensive, especially if you have a piece of junk like I do. Since we've got it, we've had to have our AC unit repaired over 10 times. Our refrigerator has been serviced 3 times now. And our dishwasher we decided to throw it out and start new. It seems like nothing works right in this house or if it does, it's not for long.
Has anyone else been suckered by this crappy insurance of even the idea that they were getting a well-built home?

- Clayton Homes are rip off city USA. My carpet has yet to be stretched and seamed and it has been 3 years. The window faceings are cracking from the sun. The trim on the kitchen counters is stuck on and they are falling off. My mother says she has felt like she as been living in a big open barn for this 3 years time. OUr heat & air has already bit the dust. I could write a book but I digress, NEWPORT, TENNESSEE
