Posted 3 years agoReport - I have known Jack and his wife and followed his ministry as it grew from a travelling evangelist. His messages are based ob a book, the Bible. True some assumptions may be exagerated from time to time. I have not agreed with some of his conclusions, but when he quotes simple truths about salvation and souls are delivered from the wages of sin- one's protesting too much reveals there position on spiritual truth- let a man exaamine himself if he be in the faith.

If you don't like hie show, DON'T WATCH. If you DON'T LIKE his books , DON'T BUY THEM. J.V.I. never said Jesus wrote the Bible. He never forced anybody and I never spoke to anyone who was afraid of what he said, EVER!

Jack Van Impe must remember the importance of the old sales pitch. it went like this..."If you want to go to heaven, I have the secret and I'll share it with you for Only $2.00. Send A SASE to P.O. BOX...." and believe it or not thousands of people sent in 2.00 to get the secret which stated. "Believe in Jesus" and while one person got rich another person got poorer. Jack Van Impe and his jvim.com site is a similar type of fear site. Or that's my belief.
Posted 3 years agoReport - The thing is you dont have to send the 2 dollars in if you dont want to because its not a secret. He tells you before you send the 2 dollars in. The 2 dollars is so that he can continue to stay on the air and deliver his message. How much do you think it costs to be on television in every country in the world. He sells the books to spread the word and to stay on the air. I have never sent him a dime but I watch him every week. God bless him and what he does.

Posted 3 years agoReport - My complaint is with you all. Jack and Rexella are wonderful people that God uses to share his truth. If there is fear in your heart when you hear him, then maybe that should be a warning to you. You will see that what he says is true, hopefully before it's too late.

Posted 3 years agoReport - I thank God for Rexella and Jack. It is through theie program that I have I gotten closer to the Lord. I love their dvd's that they offer. They are extra tools for people to learn and become closer to the Lord. It cost alot of money to be on air and when we buy video's or dvd's we are supporting this ministry to bring the gospel to the whole world which makes us a part of this ministry. Thank you for your ministry you are a blessing from God!
Posted 3 years agoReport - I find him extremely interesting. He's different from the others because he talks about science and politics. Those who have read both the bible and followed politics and science are aware that what he says is indeed true. As a matter of fact, if you watch his shows, he has plenty of evidence to prove what he says. So what if he makes money? Doesn't everyone?
Posted 3 years agoReport - By the way, I have never heard him claim to be a prophet, a psychic or any other such thing. Nor have I ever heard him claim he had direct communication with God or anything similar. He's simply very well read and tells people what the bible says about current world events and his own interpretation of that. He's entitled to his opinion just like everyone else. Of course he can and will make mistakes like everyone else too. After all, he is human and has never pretended otherwise.
Oh, and he has never scared me into buying his books. I did buy one video because he stirred up my interest, and I also enjoyed it, but as far as him scaring me....
If people are confident in their ability to think for themselves, they need never fear others will "control their minds" or "convert them."
You have no idea how wonderful and freeing that confidence is. It's good to try develop it. When you do, for the first time in your life you can enjoy listening to nearly every view that opposes yours without feeling fearful or threatened, trapped, or desiring to run away. You also open up your mind to much broader views than you would be capable of otherwise.

Posted 3 years agoReport - Jack and Rexella are good christian people they believe in accepting Jesus Christ as the only way to be born again, and I dont think you should be saying things about them until you know what you're talking about. I believe Jack and Rexella are doing Gods work. He tells it like it is. You should read your Bible before making judgments.

During the surgery, I saw Jesus the Christ standing in front of me, arms reaching towards me and my entire body felt like I was being immerssed in the Greatest Feeling of LOVE. Indescribably Delicious! Jack is human, he's allowed to make mistakes. I've got my Ticket to Heaven, Do you?

He speaks more truth as to what is happening around us today than most preacher want to talk about anyway. Beside the money he get's supports the Word Of God as it goes into all the world.
Posted 3 years agoReport - I really enjoy listening to the jvi ministeries. I do not agree with everything, but his eschatology is very knowledgeable and I do not believe that anyone actually knows 100% the actual interpretation of the end time scriptures, most are well worth keeping in mind as we sift through the scriptures and the daily news. Jack and Roxella both deserve alot of credit for speaking out the way they do and letting us see the wolves that are in sheep's clothing. We definately are in the last days and to even imagine that churches would take down the cross, put the Koran next to the Holy Bible and call it Chrislam, etc., I am absolutely shocked. I am from Canada, I do not know of any churches up here that are doing that, but there are probably some that will think because some of the elite Christians of the world are doing it, it is okay. The world is too complacent and as Ken Ham stated, we are going to get a tsunami. The muslims are putting us right where they want us and most people are too damn stupid to see it because they are whimps, milk toast whimps, gutless and the muslim overseeing all this are dancing for joy as they are winning. Those that submit to Chrislam are definately infidels. They are grieving and quenching the Holy Spirit and for that there is no forgiveness. Oh Boy, I never thought I would live to see such a time. I am 73.Been a christian for over 50 yrs. and have studied Escatology for just as long. Rev. 20 certainly tells what will happen to those that do NOT accept the mark of the beast, and it is the Taliban that do it. Christians must unite and stand up for the truth regardless, and Jack and Rexella are doing just that. I have prayed for the blood of Jesus to protect them and for their guardian angels to watch over them. Jesus said when he returns will he find FAITH. That indicates to me a great falling away as predicted in 2Thess. chapter 2. THEN SHALL THE END COME. It is getting close. Those that have eyes to see, and ears to hear, the tsunami is picking up momentum. Run to the top of the hills shouting to everyone, JESUS IN COMING, THE KING IS COMING. PRAISE GOD, HE'S COMING FOR ALL THAT LOVE HIS APPEARING.

Probably not.. I wonder where his heart is at? - I am still trying to recover after JVIM told me the world would change at Y2K... I sold off everything :(

Does JVIM ask for money or does he do it for free. Is his 30 minute show a info-commercial in which to sell his books, cds, audio tapes, videos or is he telling you what the Lord has spoken to him? - Above is what the bible states as being the word of God.. Are you going to listen to God or are you going to perfer the profit whom profits?
Better yet - I would like Jack and Rexella to answer this for us all =)
Posted 2 years agoReport - Jack Van Impe is not trying to rip any one off. He is up front about his tapes and books. He does preach that salvation through Jesus is the only way to eternal salvation. His broadcast is in almost if not every country in the world. That is where most of the money he brings in goes to. If you want a reply from him you should go to jvim.com and state your complaints. I'm sure he probably does'nt know this web site exists. He reads more periodicals a day than most people read in a year.

Posted 2 years agoReport - Yes, jvim.com has a better offer than most info-mercials. He offers heaven, while others can only offer get rich promises. I would order Jack Impes items, however, after getting ripped off on the get rich schemes, I am afraid, I would also be ripped off when I died and didn't go to heaven. I think I will save my money, give to the poor and just go to church. Save the Profits for late night laughs. Especially after Jack Scared the shit out of me during the W2K.... The sky is falling, the sky is falling.. well guess what chicken little's.... the sky hasn't fell yet!

Has anyone on here ever seen God or has he talked to you? It is brain washing! They put ideas and thoughts into your mind and you believe it. Go read a psychology book, it's called magical thinking. They are selling you snake oil. You are going to die some day and rot in the ground, enjoy your life now while you can. You want to believe in something? Believe in science! It's all just a big story, that's all they got, words and ideas, a book with a nice story so you can understand why we exist. believers, He even started out with Billy Graham in the beginning, that makes him credible in my book. As far as the books and tapes, that all helps pay for the air time of his show and if you have any idea what is costs to have a half hour show on the air each week,it is a fortune.I feel he is doing a good job for fellow belivers as well as non - belivers, those seeking the truth regarding Christ and Christianity!
Posted 2 years agoReport - Last I checked there are ppl that get Muslims to kill others by "miss quoting" the Koran, quoting random crap from the bible to coerce weak minded citizens to pay $24.95 for a CD (he claimed he just sold 30,000 this week thats $750,000 which is thousand of times more then he needs to pay for air time) The guy wont be going to heaven in any form, and if Christ walked into JVIm HQ tomorrow I'm sure he would slap Jack in the face on national TV for feed off the weak

Let me clue you in, I believe in god, but I also know that it was man kind that wrote the bible and if we still cant publish reports/books/news stories with out errors or over bloated exaggerate then what makes you think every thing in the bible is accurate?
I m sure any one here can quote any number of passages that would allow you to kill your brother and flog your wife
Don't preach about something that is not perfect in any ones eyes, if it was there would only be one bible religion, ahh but there's mankind again, messing up every thing.

Posted 2 years agoReport - These people who criticie how Van Impe operates need to know a few facts:
1) Everything one needs to be saved and understand basic prophecy can be gotten off his TV program and even downloaded for free.
2) The information offered on the DVDs is extra information for further learning. I think Christiians should get them and in so doing, enhance his ministry and their own knowledge.
3) Jack Van Impet does not beg for money even though it costs lots to put these shows up loke he does.
4) I have met him with my family at his studio. They are warm and compassionate people off the set and live very humbly.
5) They need money to run it. It is a contradiction to expect them to not beg, and not to sell anything, either. The only other means is prayer alone and can be done successfully, but most don't. This way, people get the DVD into thieir homes to share and repeat.
I mean, can you spare $25 for a DVD that will help you spread the gospel throug a soul-winner. If you can't then don't. You have all you need on the show. Just study them or download them from the site.
6) As some may allege, he is not a fake. I have heard of situations where these healing preachers would supposedly heal someone and they would walk off the stage. The audience never knew what happened in the lobby as these people would collapse and all the unsaved ushers (like from Kleinhan's Music Hall where he preached) would have to call 911 or get them emergency medical care. Not so with Dr. Van Impe. Give him a break. Try standing in his shoes even for one day. I have seen his genuiness repeatedly and in person. I was at the dinner he had when the ministry was lost.
Now, I don't agree with everything he believes. I don't support the Catholic Church or the Pope of Rome at all. There are others, but basically he is right on. Think about it.

After reading many of these previous comments, I would be interested to see people say them to God. They won't get very far. Posted 2 years agoReport - I know Jack Van Impe personally and actually just spoke to him extensively on the phone within the last couple of weeks. He uses the money coming in to support his ministry and pay for the ridiculously expensive airtime to have his program spread the Truth globally. If there is anyone to be chastised it is the Christian broadcast station owners who charge outrageous fees for airtime and actually make the people broadcasting pay them for the airtime...in a direct opposition to secular broadcasting which is covered in the overall expense of studios and agencies. A half hour show costs about $80K. Take and multiply that several times a week for some of the Christian celebrities that these Christian broadcasters grossly overcharge... which, ironically, would not have the viewership without those recognizable celebrities on their networks. Where is the Love of GOD there?

I will admit, some preachers on tv are manipulative, but they promise riches if you donate money to them and they talk about money all the time, heck.. even one is named after money (not mentioning any names) but you can tell when some one is trying to get ur money.. jack and rexella simply keep their show running and live on the money they earn from their books and there is nothing wrong with that, You are allowed to earn a living as an evangelist or preacher. He is a great man and all he is doing is trying to bring people to christ,so what is wrong with that? Yes they do have offers each week,how do you think they stay on the air,its NOT free! He does NOT yell and scream at you all he does IS point out things that ARE going on.It is all pieces of the puzzle they all must fit together to form the big picture.At times the puzzle is almost there BUT something happens that changes the piece and it wont fit anymore.Soon and I do mean soon those pieces WILL all fit,are YOU ready or are you going to be greedy and use God and repent at the last moment (if you have time?) Posted 2 years agoReport - Love 'em or hate 'em, that's your right. However, to spout off without "testing the water" is shortsighted. My wife and I watch the program and the quotations from the bible are accurate. I do not always agree with his conclusions but basically he does a good job applying The Word to the events of the day.
If you order material from him you will recieve a reciept showing purchase price, cost of material price and the tax deductable amount. Try to get that honesty from most TV ministries.
Posted 2 years agoReport - have been watching Jack and Rexella( where do you get a name like that?) for a few years and agree with Jacks knowledge and interpretation of the bible, but I have often questioned the incredible push of items for sale. Since I donated my money to receive a DVD I have been flooded with mail from JVIM soliciting their products and I find the approach overwhelming. I get regular mail looking for donations for their products So I am wondering what`s up with that?

So why not share your wealth by giving to those who are suffering. By your good deeds, you could make millions of people realize the true meaning of Christianity and that God would want you to help those who are in need.

i have enjoyed Van Impe for years. My opinion says he is a man of God and people will go to heaven because of his ministry. That is what is important. Any nation wide ministries will bring in large sums of money. I have not heard any evidence of Impe and wife flaunting their wealth.
Again my opinon is he is doing a great job for the Kingdom of God and I pray his ministry continues on for years to come.

About his resources, there are people getting rich off of porn, gambling, and other filth, even though the people who are addicted to the junk cannot afford it and ruin their lives and marriages. People want to hear the good news that Jesus loves them and want a relationship with them, so what is wrong with me buying a book or dvd that is pouring Jesus into me rather than wasting my money on useless junk that qwill not do anything for my spiritual growth? People can choose how to spend their own money however they want.

there is alot of information on the web that you can look up under Koran, Muslim beliefs, etc. It is not Just JVI ministry that states that. Many prophetic christians state the same thing. I did not know what you speak of until a few weeks ago and it was from another ministry all together and they quoted right from the Koran. Plus, If you have the patience, once and awhile, a muslim t.v. program may discuss it. It takes time to get all this stuff sorted out, and Jack has the time, ability to do it for us. Nevertheless, it is always good to ask, that is what we are to do, be a Berean. Study and prove ourselves worthy.
So many people go to one church and find it absolutely impossible to even discuss what other churches believe. This is very very wrong and very narrow minded. If you really want to read why the Taliban & Muslims are gaining momentum, read Joel Rosenberg's book "Inside the Revolution", it is true, and about all that is happening and why in the middle east and the blunders the u.s.a. gov't has pulled. (and learned from) Then read his fictional book "The twelvth Iman" based on "Inside the Revolution", but read the revolution one first, it will put you on the right track . Also, "the Epicentre" another true book written by Joel. About gov'ts, riots, etc. and behind the scenes discussions. Very enlightening. Then he has lots of other fiction books and some of his "thoughts" have come true. He is really a very intelligent christian man. God be with him as he travels and talks about all of this to gov't , media, and the public.

So, hurrah for Jack and Rexella for sticking their necks out like a giraffe and letting us know who the wolves in sheep's clothing is. I wasn't surprised of the older wolf, Mr. Shuller, but certainly of Rick Warren. Wow. They are grieving and quenching the Holy Spirit and that is putting themselves in a mine field. Unless they sincerely repent, there will be no forgiveness.And that goes for their flocks as well. We cannot blame anyone but ourselves for being ignorant. Search, be a Berean, Study, just don't read the Holy Bible.
Check out the cross references, go to the Library and use a concordance and or the Bible if you do not have one, use the computer at the Library if you do not have one. Very few have an excuse. We need men and women like Jack and Rexella to let us know the updated version of what is going on. Keep up the good work you two, I look forward to "seeing" you on Sunday nights.

JVIM does NO charity work in the community nor do they have a brick and mortar presence unless you count their accountant office in London, Ontario and PO Box in Windsor Ontario, Canada. No church, drop in center, food bank etc. nothing to warrant the charitable tax break. So if the bigotry, hate and fear mongering and idiotic conspiracy theories don't disgust you then JVIM paying NO Taxes and doing zilch to warrant a Charitable Tax Donation status surely will.
Jack Van Impe Ministries Incorporated (in Canada) earned 1.9 million dollars last year from the sale of Dvd's and Prophecy Bible. JVIM incorporated paid no taxes AND received a GST refund where applicable. Shaw Media's Global TV and Vision TV (Christian channel) earned 1.5 million dollars for broadcasting JVIM in Canada. We are investigating where the approx. $400,000 JVIM profit went as it cannot leave Canada, it has to be "gifted". Hopefully the CRA will also look into who the money is "gifted" to as well as review JVIM's Charitable Tax Donation Status.

I think he is truly a man of GOD, not perfect, buy trying to warn people of what is coming. I can only say, read the BIBLE for yourself and see what the inspired word of GOD has to say about the future things to come. I don't understand why his finances are such a big issue, what about the money being made by dirty immoral smut and that is never questioned. I know one thing for sure, CHRIST said he would return and HE will. We will not blame Jack for our failures when we stand before GOD. We need to focus on living a life that will show others the love of GOD and reach out to the lost. A very wise man of GOD once told me when I had many doubts and questions about people that I should fix my eyes on JESUS and not man.
