Sent to a friend[9324] MIV MIAMI INTERNATIONAL VACATIONS - latino radio contest
I heard a promotion on Que Buena 105.5 Radio in Los Angeles, Ca on 08/01/09 claiming the first 5 winners that can answer the question "Quien es el Rey del Accordion" to call in and win tickets to Disneyland and Las Vegas. I called and Francisco Valentin answered my call. He took my name and number down and returned my call... I won a trip to Disneyland, Las Vegas and Cancun. Initially I heard Francisco say there'd be an administrative fee of $99, then I heard him say it was $199 it changed one more time to $299. The fraud department on my credit card called me immediately after and before I asked them to cancel the fee I looked up the company and it seems they used to go by All Star Vacation Group and have been scamming people all over the country. Posted 2 years agoReport - Hi we also fail for that miv vaction package to dinsey land and we made the resveration on line and aslo paid around 150 or more but nothing and now I;m getting charged a monthly fee if anybody has a number where i can call please feel free to email it to me mariacajchun@yahoo.com People that hear this contest dnt fall for it they dnt keep there word they only steal from us. thank you

Call them and ask for the recording to be mail to you.
After you do so, them we can go from there.

Posted 2 years agoReport - i am from california and i had made a trip over to houston texas to watch wwe wrestlemania 25 with my friends. when i was there i heard on the radio that they were doing a promotion about a trip to disneyworld in florida and daytona beach and also a free destination, so i called in and all i had to do was tell them a name of the country that did not have the letter "R" in it so i said Mexico! so supposedly i won, so he started telling me about the package then she sarted telling me there was an administrative fee of 99 dollars, i said ok thats fine and then she said since im from california she can add the disneyland in anahaeim package too for only 30 bucks, so i said great, so she told me to expect a letter with information of making my reservations through the mail! well turns out i did receive that letter but they did not charge me that 130.00 they said they would be charging me! they charged 377.99 on my card and ive been calling and calling them and all i get is the same rude lady that keeps telling me that she doesnt know what im talking about and keeps giving me the same number to call that i used to reach her! im really upset about this i dont know what to do, definately a scam!

Posted 2 years agoReport - this company is fraud. they sold me a vacation that i dont even qualify for. and now they keep hanging up on me after waiting on hold for an hour. also, it turns out that there is lots more charges that will be made when you make your reservation. is there anyone that knows who i can talk to to take further action?

Posted 2 years agoReport - What Scam???? Obvioulsly none of you are paying attention or are too naive to even know what is going on... Once the promotion on the radio or TV is over and you call this company, they explain the terms and conditions and RECORD your agreement so later on if there is a problem you can go back and check what they offered you. YOU AGREE to a price for the promotion that could be $299.99 and then a manager asks you if you want an extra vacations for $99. i'm sure most of you said yes but cant remember beucase you werent paying attention. They explain they are going to charge you and plus you have to give them your own credit card for that. There is NO scam!! Whats happening here is that you people do not pay attention to what is being said and just say yes to everything! I personally think its a great deal the fact that I can travel for a very low price its great!!! It embarrasses me how many people here whine and complain for something that you couldnt afford for any other price! Get a grip and stop harrasing companies like this that gives us the change to travel for a very very low price. NEXT TIME LISTEN AND PAY ATTENTION!!! I for one think MIV vacations is a blessing. By the way, that guy that is complaining of the monthly payment is lying. The fee is paid upfont! and if you have to pay your rent you probably shouldnt be spending money on vacations!

Posted 2 years agoReport - You doid not had a problem you were just simply not paying attention to the Verbal Recording when they OFFER you a membership. If they charge you is because you had to agree otherwise they can not charge you.

Posted 2 years agoReport - i had the same problem 2 days ago and they charge me 90 dollars and they were going to charge me 200 more so when i saw this.. i cancel mi credit card... and that way they can't get money from me again...!! i feel so bad cause now i know that i just lost $90

Posted 2 years agoReport - I Got Scammed too By "ALL STAR VACATIONS " and lost over $ 265 or more .LIke in one month that i was going to make my reservations they changed there number and i cant get a hold of them ever seens . Ive called the radio station "LA QUE BUENA"were i heard there FAKE ASS contest and they told me that they werent responsable for it that it was a different compony . Research and proof shows that Miv will honor the vacation packages from this company and some others...
Miv bought the data base to All Star and are making the reservations... Not refunds since this new company took over, like Washington Mutual and chase this is to set forth an example only***
Posted 2 years agoReport - All you people who are defending this company must work for them because it is obvious that they are scaming people. They only record what is convinient for them and should be prosecuted for the crimes that they have commited.

Posted 1 year agoReport - Mi esposo fue vitima de esta compania 10 meses atras y estamos juntando personas que allan sido estafadas por las promociones que ofrecen esta compania por medio de las estaciones de radio u otro medio, asi es que si eres una de ellas por favor mandame un email a soniaaldaco@hotmail .com, y no te dejes intimidar por las personas que trabajan para ellos y que te dicen que ellos tienen grabaciones y que no puedes hacer nada, recuerda que si nos unimos podemos hacer algo.

Despues de estar llamando por dias para hacer reservaciones no habia hoteles para hospedarnos un fin de semana, y me pedian 110 dolares mas en adicion a los 299.00 que ya pague, para gastos del hotel. No me podia dar el nombre del hotel sin antes pagar por los gastos del hotel (110) y cuando pedi que me devolvieran el dinero me dijeron que no se podia. isabella0914@aol.com

Posted 1 year agoReport - describir lo escrito por todas estas personas seria describir la misma situacion con esa cia MIV te sacan el dinero poco a poco te ofrecen algo que no cumplen exigen por adelantado y nisiquiera tienes ni el nombre ni nada del hotel que supuestamente te van a dar y si quieren los impuestos por adelantado pero de reserva NADA pague ya $414.99
Posted 1 year agoReport - Yes, these people are scamming people I dealing with them now. They never tell that once you make the reservations you will have to go to a presentation of 90 minutes. If you do not go to the presentation they will bill your credit card a fee of 299.99
